Walnut Recall -- Shah Trading Company is not affected

On September 6, 2011, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency issued a recall on walnuts from John Vince Foods. We are not affected by this recall. For more information, please visit the recall notice.

We are Level 2, SQF Certified!

We are very happy to announce that we are now Level 2, SQF Certified. Our final audit score was an amazing 99.07%, which is outstanding for one of the food industry’s strictest Quality Assurance programs. If we had been graded according the former scoring method, our score would have been 99.77%!

We would like to thank our hard working and dedicated staff for putting in the extra effort and time to pursue this important goal, while maintaining our regular work. Also, we would like to thank all of our vendors for their cooperation and openness with regards to the sharing of information and the desire to improve overall traceability. Finally, we would like to extend a special thanks to Mr. Muhammed Basit for leading our team and motivating everyone to achieve this prestigious designation.

We hope that we continue on this path and hope to have all of our networks’ support and cooperation in maintaining this standard for the future.
